1933. (Cummings, E.E.). The Red Front by Louis Aragon. Translated by E.E.
Cummings. Chapel Hill, N.C.: Contempo Publishers (1933). First edition, one
of approxi mately 200 copies printed. Red printed wrappers, fine copy. In
Eimi, Cummings remarked that this translation was undertaken at the request
of the Russian Revolutionary Literary Bureau, as "a friendly gesture of
farewell." Cummings and Aragon had been friends during the 1920s in Paris.

First edition. One of approximately 200 copies printed. A few minor, small
smudges to wrappers, upper corner slightly bumped, but a very good copy.

 In 1933 Pound had offered to find a publisher for cummings' translation.
