Jonathan Morse asked about Pound's announcement that the Christian era was
over. That announcement is well known, but for the life of me I can't
recall--or locate--the specific place or time. My fuzzy old brain thinks it
was published in the LITTLE REVIEW, but earlier than 1922. In any event
Pound published a calendar based on his own birth date aided by some
astrological calculations to produce a post-Christian calendar. I have some
information on it buried somewhere, but can't put my finger on it. Perhaps
with this spur someone else will recall the specifics. I imagine it must be
mentioned in Forrest REad's strange book, whose title I also can't recall at
the moment.
