In preparing my application packets for graduate
school, I am rewriting a paper I wrote as an
undergraduate a few years ago about Ezra Pound's use
of ancient Greek and Chinese poetry in the Cantos. I
have used a quote from Pound as an epigram, the source
of which I now cannot locate. I would appreciate any
answers or suggestions of where to look for it, as I
am combing through the books in my bibliography. The
quote: "The thought of what America would be like if
the classics had a wide circulation troubles my
sleep."
