Dear Pounders,
 
For what it's worth (which, at the current rate of usarah, is about 2
cents) my adopted son's biological father, long dead, was one of the
scientists responsible for inventing that mysterious little chip that
keeps track of the day, date and time even when your computer is turned
off.
 
There, now I feel cleansed.
