one should not confuse techniques with intent -- many corporations buy patent
rights to prevent a particular item or process from coming on the market. to
buy is not produce, which is William's obvious point. one has to split a lot
hairs to see it otherwise. likewise, a web site is not a production -- plays
are intended to be performed, not read.
