Not everyone that reads USCHO is a fact driven, media possessed, Division 1
college, hockey hound clued in to all the trivia and undertones that cover the
complexion of a team. Not everyone knows without checking MAINE'S stats (and
some may not know even with checking the stats (-: ) how really good a record
they have despite their losses. And, maybe that's just the point! What does
get defined and offered up as an informational piece caters to a select
audience, and as Dave admits is written with the winning team in mind!

As a MAINE fan, my interest focused on the persistence of calls on MAINE which
have without question, more than once, more than twice, more than three times,
this season, directly affected game outcomes adversely for MAINE. As a neutral
observer (if any of those guys exist) BLUE in the BOX would mean something
entirely different compared to the opposing viewpoint. So, now we have three
realities! (-:
 
They (two at least) were not part of the recap. Dave concedes that. That was
always my contention!
