Hello all,
I just wanted to share a bit about a very successful program that we recently hosted at the library. Help Me Grow is a new organization within the Department of Health and Human Services that serves as an access point that connects families to information, resources, and services about child development. Last week, Outreach Specialist Melinda Corey attended our regular family storytime to give a quick overview of the services offered, answer questions, hand out books and pamphlets, and provide free developmental screenings to interested families. Melinda was wonderful to work with, and the families were so appreciative of the time she spent talking with them and answering questions.
If you would like to contact Melinda about visiting your library, she can be reached at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. And I'm happy to answer any questions about the event!
Take care,
Jess Milton
