Good morning,

Gale recently announced that their literature databases will be retiring
and migrated to a new Literature Resource Center platform that will offer a
mobile responsive design along with other enhancements. Databases include:

   - Contemporary Authors
   - Contemporary Literary Criticism
   - Dictionary of Literary Biography

These databases are scheduled to retire on 8/7/2015 which will be the
official migration date (set by Gale). The new Literature Resource Center
is scheduled to release on 7/31/2015, allowing a window of opportunity for
staff-only access, receive training, configure branding, open urls,
discovery, authentication etc.

As of this morning Gale confirmed that both EBSCO and SerSol/Proquest will
be ready for the transition in their discovery systems. Otherwise, do not
have any other information to share, but currently working with Gale to
coordinate and produce supporting documents, schedule webinars and other
needed efforts for a smooth transition on short notice.
