I'll bet the lighting upgrade was to replace fixtures/bulbs with high
efficiency units.  I'll be curious to hear what the result is from the
fan point of view.  Sometimes there is a significant color and/or
brightness change.  Or maybe it was done just to enhance the color of
the new jerseys.  :-)

I saw on local news tonight that Alfond apparently has upgraded
lighting?  It appears this took place in between Christmas and New
Years.

How long does it take to turn these off (any chance we'll see some more
"dramatic" lighting at Alfond?)

I am also curious if these were funded privately or if this was part of
the budget?
