No, it was a reference to Maine playing Merrimack on Friday (and
perhaps not taking as seriously, see BC vs. PC). Beware of the
Warriors!

Providence 5, Boston College 3
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Greg Collins and Matt Taormina scored late
in the
final period to lead Providence College to a 5-3 win over Boston
College
on Tuesday.
The Eagles (4-2-0, 1-1-0 Hockey East) had taken a 2-0 lead in the
opening
period on goals by Nathan Gerbe and Dan Bertram.
Then Jamie Carroll scored at 6:21 of the second period, the first of
three
unanswered goals by the Friars (2-4-1, 1-1-1 HE). Tony Zancanaro and
Nick
Mazzolini also scored for PC.
Brett Motherwell tied it for the Eagles at 11:21 of the third, but
Collins, at 18:14, and Taormina, at 19:59, pulled the Friars ahead
for
good.
Cory Schneider had 37 saves in the losing effort for BC. Tyler Sims
had 26
for Providence.
