Yea, Robbie Earl. He had a great NCAA Tournament. I mentioned to the
(pleasantly drunk) Wisconsin fan next to me that I thought Earl might
have been their Most Valuable Player in Green Bay and Milwaukee. I got
a guffaw and a list of the "more normal" stars. I had big grin later
that evening when the local television news announced his MVP. But now
I've got to go see the videotape to see his defense, or lack of it! ;-)

I think college hockey does that, but you're exactly right. I think
that list of players will all be much better scorers next season, due to
graduations, obvious potential. and our need to "replace" 40%+ of this
season's goals.

Why do young UMaine players go from great scorers at the previous level
to almost shunning the offense here? Anyone?

Thanks and cheers, wayne
