I'd buy that comment if it was said about Greg Moore, but not Damon. 
Then again, I guess "pro" is a loose term.  If by "pro" you mean "NHL"
then I say no way.  Best of luck to him though!!


The pro game is a much different game.  Once you get past the stars, it is
much more of an assignment / role type of a game.  He isn't going to be a 30
goal scorer, but a checking line specialist who maybe chips in 8 goals and
20 points wouldn't be out of the question.  There are guys, short on skill
who make long careers on effort and work ethic and there are a lot of guys
with all the skill in the world who don't have much of a pro career.
Remember Dave Capuano?  All the skill in the world and no work ethic, he got
a look, but he didn't have much of a career and never realized his
potential.
