Overall, BC might be the better team, but I don't agree that was true
last night. I thought Maine dominated much of the first 2-3 periods,
especially the first.
Our lack of poise with the puck I think is truly the reason we didn't
win last night. Many chances where guys wiffed or couldn't lift the
puck or just plain choked with it. That is somewhat understandable
with our young lineup, but in many ways it has bit us often this year.
I really felt Maine deserved to win the game last night, but that
doesn't count for anything. Maine certainly represented the university
and state well.
I don't care if Maine is west, east or otherwise as long as you get a
chance to play in the tournament, which 6 weeks ago didn't look so
good.
