This is an article I found on www.uscho.com regarding a pending NCAA
proposal that would eliminate the ability of D-III schools that "play up" in
one sport to award scholarships. This directly impacts Clarkson, St.
Lawrence, Colorado College and Rensselaer. It's part of a sweeping D-III
reform package aimed at restoring "philosophical integrity."

From what I've heard, most fans, especially fans of these 4 schools are
outraged by the idea. We should be promoting the sport, not cutting back on
schools with such great traditions. If anyone is interested an online
petition has been started for those who oppose the idea.
