Indeed an excellent article by Dave.

One telling quote by Mike Morrison I pulled out:

"Coach Whitehead has a lot of pressure on him. He's done an
unbelievable job. He's handled it so well. This is a national
powerhouse [that was] led by a legendary coach and now that legendary
coach is gone and the new coach has taken over the helm. He's got a
lot of expectations and he's handled it very coolly and calmly."

I agree that he is under tremendous pressure and is in a lose-lose
situation. Like Dave said, if Maine does well... it's expected... and
if they don't.. it's either Coach Whitehead's fault... or because Coach
Walsh isn't here.

Regardless, to date Tim Whitehead has handled himself with class and
represented Maine hockey well as far as I can tell from "away". I hope
that is remembered regardless of wins and losses in the end. Thanks
Tim!!!
