0 Skate with the Bears, an annual free event when fans of the UMaine
men's ice hockey team can talk with the team, get autographs, and skate
to
holiday music at the Alfond Arena is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 28 from
5:30 to 7 p.m.  Kids aged 13 and younger who bring sticks and helmets
may also test their speed against the radar gun and shoot on the UMaine
goalies.  Skates, donated by UMaine. are available at no charge on a
first-come, first-served basis.  There will be free refreshments, and a
souvenier program for the team to sign.  This event is produced by the
Friends of Maine Hockey.  If there are any questions, please contact
