I would contend that often that "heat" was often deserved.
But, I share in Bob's assesement of this season. Loya has been a shining
star on the team this year and is well deserving of this award,
congtratulations!!
I got a kick out of Francis Nault's selection to the all-star team. What
Hockey East didn't tell you was that his selection was as a result of all
the Grade A assists he's given Hockey East *opponents* this year! (OH!...
BOOOOOOOOOOO!)
Seriously though, Francis has great numbers and I think that is why he
received the award. No one here will claim that defense prowess is his
strength, but he is certainly a great offensive player. He really did help
pick up the slack left by Peter Metcalf and Michael Schutte on offense from
the blue line.
I think we all miss Peter Metcalf the most from last year's team, but
Michael Schutte hasn't got much attention, but he has got to run second.
His versatility as a forward and defensemen and his offensive ability would
be great to have on this team right now.
