  I remember back in the 70's and 80's, the biggest problem with the
sound system was that you couldn't understand what was being said by Joe
and others over the loud speaker system.
  I think a nice clean wooden roof would look good, ( and make the joint
ALOT  louder).. but the biggest concern should be whether the public
address announcer can be understood.
