Hi all,

Sorry for the cross-posting. Not sure how many of you have Automatic
External Defibrillators (AEDs), but they can be a great life-saving step
that can be administered by a layperson in the event of cardiac arrest.

I attended a luncheon in hopes of getting a free AED through this great
program. It turns out that Berwick is not rural enough to receive a free
AED, but you might be! You can check here to see if you are defined as
rural:
http://datawarehouse.hrsa.gov/RuralAdvisor/ruralhealthadvisor.aspx?ruralByAddr=1

Application here: http://www.mainecardiohealth.org/RAED.html
They did encourage me and others to apply even if we don't meet that
criteria, in hopes that they might be able to help us out in another way or
in the future.

Quite a short, easy application in any case.

Best,
Melissa
