I do believe that Maine did lose their composure as
the game went along. The number of blocked and
deflected shots were incredible. BU under Jack Parker
know how to play defense.

Josh Soares going "ballistic " in the penalty box
indicates how wrong that penalty was. An experienced
player like Soares doesn't react like that to a
legitimate penalty. Calling two of them in the same
game is certainly questionable. Why the 10 minute
penalty? I don't get it. Safety for officials?

Are the anchors to the net not properly set? It seems
as though they break away very easily and then they
can't be replaced without someone coming on the ice
with a torch. As Jim says this maybe because of the
water Curry was dumping on the ice. However, it also
happened on Bishop's net but not so often.

FWIW I sit next to the visiting fan section and the BU
fans were very hospitable. Then again they were
winning. There was a young man there wearing a Maine
hockey jersey and a BU hat. Obviously, he has torn
allegiance.

Pleased to see Tim display some emotion. I think this
will be valuable down the stretch. There is a lot of
hockey left to be played. Losing two games at home is
devastating but by no means is it the end.
