Hey Dan,

Had the same thoughts watching the game last night, though I think
Maine did a better job on defense. You just had a sinking feeling as
each opportunity was denied that Montreal would score. The Canadiens
scoring chances seemed to be of better quality than the B's, with men
open in the slot or standing and waiting for a back door pass. Not to
metion the best offensive players on the ice from a talent standpoint
were wear bleu, blanc et rouge, with Kovalev, Koivu and Zednik.

Still wish that Julien had put Rubiero out on the ice for the last 8
seconds with Lapointe, even after the handshakes they had words and
Rubiero still had a big smirk on his face that needed to be wiped off.

C'est la vie!

Now we all have reason to cheer for some Maine alums!

John Torterella- Head Coach Tampa Bay Lightning
Niko Dimitrakos- San Jose Sharks
Paul Kariya- Colorado Avalance (Let's hope he can play)

Two Maine alums were eliminated in the first round

Eric Weinrich-St. Louis Blues
Dave Nonis- Assistant General Manager (?) Vancouver Canucks

Anybody have an update on Prestin????
