The NCAA does have rules regarding current players speaking to groups.
Basically, the kids can not be in grade 9-12. The player speaking is not
permitted to receive any payment or gifts. There can be no advertising by a
sponsor.
Just to be safe, contact Jeanne Goss at the Hockey Office. There my be
institutional rules as well as NCAA.

Does anyone know if there are restrictions to NC$$ rules regarding a request
to a player to come to a mite/squirt practice and talk to the kids? I
thought it would be great to try to get a few of the local mass players
playing for Maine to come down and I'm not sure of any "bizarro" rules the
NC$$, or any rules coach Walsh may have. I think some of the kids may get a
little "pep" seeing the younger college players and hearing how their hard
work got them a step away from playing the big league. Suggestions.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
