Bob and Wayne -- Boy did you bring back some fond memories when you started
talking about Lake Placid.  Hard to believe that was 12 years ago (Boy are
we getting old!!!).  I will never forget the march down the main drag to
the arena.  I get goose bumps just thinking about it.
 
I also had to chuckle when Wayne mentioned the North Dakota fans.  Dan and
I ran into a few of them that weekend at one of the local establishments.
They were all wearing lime green tuxedos, and boy did they know how to
party.  Ask Dan to relate the "fireman story" sometime.  I keep trying to
convince Dan to wear a baby blue tux to  Providence, but he won't take me
up on the offer!!
 
Needless to say, the outcome at Anaheim last year was much more exciting
than at Lake Placid, but you have to admit, the first one is always
something special.
