Wyndham Lewis is not only a terrific writer but also truly comic even in
shorter novels such as "The Screaming Queen" apropos amongst his more famous
portraits of Eliot, Pound, Edith Sitwell they have not received universal
critical acclaim? Apes of God is one of the few books to accentuate how much
writers & artists can hate each other's guts (among other themes) and works
similarly The Revenge for Love depicts the ecstacy & despair of a painter's
daily life and also has one of the best depictions of a fight ever...
just to agree with Tim Romano & Alex Davis
