Luca Gallesi has asked me to post the following announcement:

Mimesis Edizioni, an Italian university publisher, announces a new series
devoted to Ezra Pound economics:

ORO E LAVORO

A series edited by Luca Gallesi and Gabriele Stocchi

The first two volumes in the series are:

1) C.H. Douglas, Come le banche soffocano l'economia, edited by Luca Gallesi

2) Silvio Gesell, Il valore del denaro, edited by Luca Gallesi

The series publishes texts of heterodox economists who have investigated and
tried to solve the causes of "poverty in the midst of plenty." Keynes
refers to this paradox when he praises the heretical scholars who,
"following their intuitions, have preferred to see the truth obscurely and
imperfectly rather than to maintain error, reached indeed with clearness and
consistency and by easy logic, but on hypotheses inappropriate to the
facts." Among the authors expected, in addition to the already published
C.H. Douglas and Silvio Gesell, are A.R. Orage, F. Soddy, A. Kitson, C.
Hollis, and Brooks Adams.

The series web page is http://www.mimesisedizioni.it/Oro-e-lavoro.html ,
where copies may be ordered.
