Look, James, I don't have time for your little essay question on Pound,
and besides you have put the teacher hat not the student one on my head. So
let me tell you this. I haven't graded any papers since 1969, 34 years ago,
but when I did the department had a policy to fail any freshman in
composition who committed certain "fatal errors" one of which was the wrong
use of "to", "too", and "two". "The quality of mercy" thought "is not
strained" and certainly was not then so on my part, and I never had the
heart to do it to any of those poor pitiful creatures, until now.
Consequently without batting an eye, I would flunk your sorry ass on
this last absolutely nonsensical stream of consciousness diatribe of
bullshit, and it would feel good.
You admit you know nothing of Pound. That is honest, but I think you
should also read Emerson again.
But I do now regret calling you names, and agree that sooner or later we
all play the asshole role. The elite role is not so easy.

"For nonconformity the world whips you with its displeasure" -Emerson
No shit, Ralph?
