Hi Roxana, e tutti,
The event in Oakland is somewhat like the downtown Oakland art murmur -
1st Friday of the month the art galleries and neighboring shops stay
open late. There has been quite a crowd and buzz around this. Book/shop
is in a different neighborhood that is gaining its own loyal following
for art murmur-down-the-road-a-ways. All of which is to say, there will
be a lot of extraneous noise! It would be great to have a recording,
even of the 'scene,' - a large crowd expected. The book store is aware
of this but there is nothing concrete about a recording happening.
The violinist is superb, so perhaps he will want to perform the work
again (after all the preparation). Stand by!
All best,
Margaret
