Proposal for an Ezra Pound Society Newsletter

Dear Poundians,

You may remember that Justin Kishbaugh offered to help the society
some time ago. His offer was generous and very welcome, especially
that I feel there is so much more we can do for the EPS. We arranged
to skype at a weekend and fell to cogitating between us what avenues
we could conceivably pursue in a possible collaboration. Justin
mentioned that he had previously helped edit the Aldington newsletter
and that he would be willing to do something similar for our society.
Now, that was very much down my lane! We then started negotiating
about what this newsletter might contain. After we reached a measure
of agreement, I submitted a draft proposal to the society committee.

As I am not sure that the proposal is comfortable to read in an email
(question marks inserted in various places, if you remember) I have
put the newsletter proposal in a Word document in my dropbox account.
You can access it at
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54395366/newsletter%20anouncement.doc

This document is very much a draft and I would welcome any addition,
idea or correction you might have. I?ll leave it there for you to
consider and bring suggestions for a week. Then Justin will plant the
proposal as an announcement on the society facebook page.
If you like the newsletter idea, please contribute in whatever way you
can, it will be there to promote our work and serve us. Justin has
created a google email address for the newsletter as a way to start.
The email address is: [log in to unmask]

We plan to launch the newsletter next year; for ideas and
contributions to pour in, layout to be established, people to get
involved, all this will take some time. Please have a look at the
draft and let me know.

With all my best,
Roxana
