As stated before, Kerlucke (should be Kerluke -dt) and Ponitz are both
coming to Maine next season. Ponitz will most likely redshirt his first
season but could develop similar to Jeff Libby (redshirt first year,
develop skills to go with great size and become a pro prospect). Right
now Ponitz is very raw and needs quite a bit more
quickness and agility. He does posess a nice mean streak and great size
and he has improve almost 100%
since last year. Kerlucke (sic) is a natural sniper and a prototypical
Maine forward (fast, creative with a knack for scoring goals). He is
rather small though (5'10" 170) and might have trouble in the early
going with
the physical nature of Hockey East.
