YES!!! The Friends of Maine Hockey are sponsoring a pre-game rally for all
interested Maine Hockey fans this Friday, before the game. Here are the
particulars:
 
LOCATION: The Commonwealth Fish & Beer Company, 138 Portland Street. (The
Harp is on the corner of Causeway and Portland. This place is just around
the corner and up the street a bit). It will be in their bar on the lower
level.
 
DATE: Friday, March 17, 2000
 
TIME: 2:00pm to 3:00pm
 
The UMaine Pep Band will be there and we will invite Coach Walsh to drop by
to speak to us. There will be light munchies provided. At about 3:00pm the
Pep Band will lead us accross the street to the Fleet Center.

Does anyone know of any group gathering of Maine fans before the Friday
night game?    I know that in years past the band, along with fans, gathered
for some pre-game fun at one of the restaurants near the old Boston Garden,
and Shawn Walsh came by with some insight into the game.  It was great fun!
