Those of you who will be attending the MLA convention are cordially
invited not to miss the Pound Society's sessions. First, "Ezra Pound
and Prosody" (Monday, Dec. 27 from 3:30 to 4:45, Hyatt Regency's San
Francisco Room). Second, "Ezra Pound's Tribalisms" (Tuesday, Dec. 28
from 1:45 to 3:00, Hyatt Regency's Ogden Room).
I also would welcome papers or proposals for the sessions to be held at
the next MLA in December, 2000. Topics: "Transmitting Ezra Pound"
(ways of presenting Pound's works, whether inside or outside of the
classroom); "Ezra Pound and H.D" (any aspects of their relationship).
If you are interested in either of these topics, please submit your
papers/proposals by March 15th. My address: English Dept., Tulane
University, New Orleans LA 7018.
