The tower is most likely the guard tower.  Watch for the forthcoming
edition of Letters in Captivity, Dorothy and Ezra's correspondence
from 1945-6, edited by Omar Pound and Bob Spoo, to be published by
Oxford UP, for some spectacular pictures from the DTC, never before
published.
