I think you refer to "Love Poems of Ancient Egypt" by Ezra Pound and Noel
Stock.
There is a note in the front which says'
"These versions are based on literal renderings of the hieroglyphic texts
into Italian by Boris de Rachewiltz, which first appeared...".
The front note goes on to detail the publication details for Boris' Italian
renderings.
A note on the back cover states that only the poem "Conversations in
Courtship" was translated from the Italian by Ezra Pound. All other poems
in the book were translated from the Italian by Noel Stock.
Gallup designates the book A80.
