Thanks, Lee Lady, for the recent post on how easy it is to take EP's
gestures too seriously. Also, seems still to me that the best idea to come
out through all the various declarations is that only emotion endures. The
amazing work of translating feeling into form (or in EP's case, forms) I
value as his best lesson, both for teaching and writing. No boast, no
gruffness, just fact.
