Poundians will be interested in the MLA session on "James Laughlin of New
Directions" that will take place in San Francisco on Tuesday, December 29
from 12:00-1:15 p.m. in Union Square 19-20 (this is the room) of the
Hilton Hotel; it is Session 537 in the convention program.  Here are the
