I received a phone message from Robert Bock yesterday informing me that
David Horton had died last Saturday, October 4, in Carson City Nevada.  He
had colon cancer.  Horton was one of Pound's group at St. Elizabeths.

I don't know about a visit, but Pound from Europe wrote letters to
Berryman in an attempt to keep culture and arts going in the right
direction across the Atlantic. He thought Berryman one of the people who
was essential to that effort. These letters are probably in the Berryman
