Too bad there's no such thing as an APB for this sort of thing. Any way to
track it down? Who might that "respected agent" have been?  Pound also took
the idea to an academic press who had "challenged Palgrave". But they
rejected the ambitious 12-volume plan,  replying that they'd be interested
in doing something 'more in the nature of gems'. (LE18).  Would this have
been Oxford University Press?
