It is possibly partly due to the ubiquitous yet asinine Gregorian calendar
we use. For any folk to wait for 2,000 years for their god to reappear- how
can anyone say anything new at the birthday parties?

P.s. Spengler's prophecy may be showing early stages of potential
credibility i.e Keynesean consumer confidence mythology vs. the real
trouble looming on the horizon for the dollar. Old Europe with their Euro
doesn't seem to be in a state of panic at Pax Americana, yet.
