I'm sorry I've been late with info
regarding Perloff's essay; the one explicitly
mentioning Pound is, as one listmember mentioned,
_Contemporary of our Grandchildren_. I have
been unable to locate my Perloff book to find
the original source of the Yeats/Khlebnikov essay,
but, as I noted before, it can be found in her
book _Poetic License: Essays on Modernist and
Postmodernist Lyric_. If anybody needs the original
citation, let me know backchannel and I'll do my
best to find the book -- everything's in a little
disarray here, since I'm moving.
