I hope there is no objection if I offer my interpretation in the form of a
poem. I feel there are more things relevant to the central discussion and
this is the only way I can think of condensing it all to tolerable length.

    The casque, a fragile green armor
    For life
    Against the hail,
    Against "a fitful sun",
    Paquin, you are undone.
    White gold now emerald
    Bursts into black,
    Goes to orange,
    Contemplates the night sun,
    A flying dragon in its crystal cave.
    Down to earth,
    Down to the ant's sure step,
    Head to the ground
    He reachs
    To ascend.
    The lowliest is not bereft
    Of vision.
    Nor is aware of our puny wars.
    Here on a small hill
    Under the pin-up moon
    He builds Jerusalem's temple.
