After you read "ABC of Economics" and Cantos 45 and 51 start looking for
articles and information on "Guild Socialism" and "social credit". Guild
Socialism was one of the many economic theories that were prevalent in
Europe during the early twentieth century. "Social credit" was an economic
theory of a man named C. H. Douglas and was central to Pound's economic
theories.

When you are comfortable with Guild Socialism and "social credit" read some
general texts about the current United States Federal Reserve System.

If you are still interested in Pound's economics try, Earle Davis, "Vision
Fugitive: Ezra Pound and Economics" (Lawrence, Kansas University Press:1968)
