About women scholars and Pound: Christine Froula, the authour of To Write
Paradise and other Pound studies has not been mentioned. At the recent
Pound conference in Beijing, many women, including Chrstine Froula and
Wendy Flory, were
present. They included: Helen Dennis, Diana Collecott, Marina Camboni,
Ann Pratt, Roxanna Preda, Emily Mitchell, Evelyn Haller, Xue Liang, Line
Henriksen, Jennifer Wilson, Mary Anderson, and, of course, Mary de
Rachewiltz, a prominent participant.This list is probably not complete,
but it suggests the extent of female participation in Pound studies.
