Dear Sylvester,

The 19th International Pound Society meeting will be in Paris, in early July
of 2001. There was a good deal of support for Hailey, Idaho, being the site
in 2003. The Beijing conclave saw many intriguing papers, particularly from
new EP hands. We from the West learned a good deal about Chinese culture, but
not as much as we would have liked to acquire. Others who were there can
weigh in with further observations.
