Sorry for all non-german speaking Pounders in this list, but I am going to quote
part of an article I once found in the www. It is written by Prof. Reinhard
Doehl in Stuttgart, you can find it in the web. Shortly said, it deals with the
brazilian concrete poet Haroldo de Campos who came to Ulm and Stuttgart,
Germany, and the Noigandres group who learned a lot by Pound.  Prof. Doehl says,
that L.C. Vinholes translated the essay "the chinese character" by Ernest
Fenellosa. The title of his essay is: "Stuttgart - Tokio und zur|ck".

He once was very helpful for me as I did some research about Rainer M. Gerhardt

ergdnzen, die zu meinem Thema gehvrt. Haroldo de Campos verdanke zumindestens
ich die Kenntnis eines wichtigen Essays: Ernest Fenelosa's  Das chinesische
Schriftzeichen als poetisches Medium". Dieser Essay war 1920 von Ezra Pound
herausgegeben worden und fast in Vergessenheit geraten, bis L.C. Vinholes ihn
den Brasilianern bekannt machte und er auf diesem Wege in die internationale
Diskussion um die konkrete Poesie eingef|hrt wurde. Ein Essay, hier so wichtig
wie Worringers  Abstraktion und Einf|hlung" f|r die Entwicklung der modernen
Malerei.<
