Mostly correct as far as I know. Probably a number of the independent
truckers were the same people who trucked fuel to break the miner's
strike.

Incidentally, it is possible to take a class position, even a revolutionary one,

without piling up the nasty epithets. I don't believe criticism of petty
producers
(such as the truckers in U.K.) is one of the occasions which calls for such
an extended vocabulary. And after all, probably the worst thing one could
call the New Labour folks in U.K. would be Clintonites.
