Re Leon Surette's opinion on Pound's French accent:
 
How about the recording of the World War I/Hell canto with that long
passage in French?  Here I am handicapped, as so many of us on this list
are, by not having primary or secondary sources at hand.
 
As I recall it's the voice of Leger (?), and the accent is quite good.
