Hello

A biography you might find useful is Noel Stock "The Life of Ezra Pound". Stock was an associate of Pound. Another biography is Carpenter's "A Serious Character: The Life of Ezra Pound". Terrell's work cannot be recommended too often to a Pound newcomer. I have found it to be absolutely essential to my reading of "The Cantos".

Subject: Canots help

I am new to Pound and newer to the Cantos. Though I am diving right in, I
feel I need accompanying information in order to get the full emotional
content. The allusions, translations and intensity seem to vary greatly in
relation to the stages of his life (especially the Pisan Cantos). Can
anyone recommend a solid reference for the Cantos?

Thanks
