According to Pound 's letter of 1930 to Tagore, Basil Bunting
did "a very good condensation of $B!! (BCho Mei."
Kamono Cho Mei(1155-1216) is a poet and essayist of
Japan, whose work is taught in every high school.
Does anyone know this good condensation by Bunting ?

The Pound's letter is in Bikash Chakravarty : Poets to Poet,
Letters from R.Bridges, Ernest Rhys, W.B.Yeats, M.S. Moore,
R.C.Trevelyan and E. Pound to Tagore, Visva-Bharati,
Calcutta,1998.
