In light of the Vancouvah Canucks' pending signing of stah UMaine G
Alfie Michaud, the Orono Little
League (OLL) has announced tentative plans for its "Au Revwah Alfie"
parade this weekend through
beautiful downtown Bangoah ME. The parade committee is currently
accepting any applications for
parade pahticipants in the following categories:
 
1.) Zambonis
2.) Tractahs
3.) Trailahs
4.) Mobile homes
5.) Pickup trucks
6.) Semis and rigs
7.) Miscellaneous mobile fahm equipment
8.) Ride-on lawnmowahs
9.) Floats
 
OLL is also looking foah some late-model domestic autos to transpoht
some of the many celebrities that
are invited to attend this bash, to include Guvnah King, Steven King,
Harry Alfond, Cindy Blodgett, and
the '99 Monsieur Speedo Quebec pageant winner and Alfie's now-formah
teammate, Ben Guite. UMaine
coach Dahth Walshy is expected to take a brief timeout from his
extensive (and extended) recruiting
mission to Europe to attend the festivities, with effohts also being
undahtaken to see if Ma and Pa Kariya
can make it to town as well.
 
OLL welcomes any othah suggestions that UMaine-iacs everywheah might
have to celebrate this
momentous occasion. Donations can be sent to OLL in small bills or
