Poundians may be interested in a few CDs related to Pound's work:

(1) Paul Lehrman has reconstructed the original version of George
Antheil's Ballet Mecanique and performed it to great acclaim in three
American cities. The performance is available on CD. The website is at
www.antheil.org
(2) Elmar Oliveira and Robert Koenig have recorded the violin sonatas of
Ottorino Respighi and Ildebrando Pizzetti, a CD which has been well
reviewed. The Pizzetti Sonata, which I think has never before been
recorded, was given its premiere performance in the early 1920s by Olga
Rudge, with the composer at the piano. Information can be found at
www.artekrecordings.com
(3) Some years ago, Charles Timbrell of Howard University, who has done
considerable research on Walter Morse Rummel, issued a CD containing
most of Rummel's recordings on 78 rpms--music by Bach, Chopin, Liszt,
Brahms, plus seven of Rummel's own songs performed by Timbrell and a
soprano. I can't give a website for this one, but it is part of a
historical piano series issued by a French company called Dante
Productions. I found my copy through an internet search.

Now, can anyone tell me if that Italian performance of Pound's
Cavalcanti is going to be recorded? videotaped? How about a CD tranfer
of the Villon?
